LinkedIn has added more AI-powered options to Its Recruiter Platform
03/03/2024X introduces Long-Form Articles for Premium+ Subscribers
13/03/2024Google back in October announced that it is expanding access to its option to add social media profiles to Google Business Accounts. Now, Google has added a new section within its business listings in Search, which displays recent social media posts from your connected profiles.
As you can see in the above example, shared by Search Engine Journal, Google Business profiles now have a new sub-section titled “Social Media Updates,” which displays the latest posts from any linked social apps. If you are a business owner or manage Google Business Accounts now you can connect any social platform to it like, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and X accounts via Google Business dashboard.
Google stated that the social post previews are populated automatically based on the social profiles linked to the business. Also, while now users can manually link their social media accounts, Google has noted that it may add social media links to eligible Business Profiles automatically in some cases.
In addition, back in 2023, Google enabled more businesses to add social media links to their Google Business profile, which provided users another way to showcase their social profile links within Google Search and Maps.
In this way, Google Business users will be able to provide more content within their Google Business listings, and further, they will be able to generate more interest in their products or services.
Google has created a very thoughtful and interesting update for Google Business Accounts, as it gives power to Google to drive traffic, and for users who own a Google Business Account, it is a key element to consider.
