27/04/2024Google is incorporating generative AI into another aspect, as advertisers launching Demand Gen campaigns can now generate visuals for their promotions directly within the ad setup process.
Demand Gen campaigns allow brands to optimize their video and image resources by adapting them to various Google ad formats, expanding their reach and appealing to specific audiences.
Now, advertisers have the option to create custom visuals for each campaign type within the ad setup flow.
As stated by Google:
“With generative image tools, you can test new creative concepts more efficiently – whether experimenting with new types of images or simply building your creatives from scratch. Your knowledge and expertise to help Google AI generate images tailored to your business or client’s needs.”
This feature is particularly beneficial given that Demand Gen campaigns run across multiple formats, and having the ability to generate visuals tailored to the size requirements of each format can significantly enhance the effectiveness of promotions.
Google assures that its generative AI process ensures that no two images are identical, and all generated images are identified as AI-generated for transparency.
This addition provides advertisers with another tool to enhance their ad campaigns with customized visuals, which can be particularly impactful depending on the nature of the promotion and product being advertised.
While the primary focus of the generative process is creating visuals from prompts, it may be somewhat limiting for brands looking to include specific product images. Nonetheless, it presents another avenue for creating standout Google ads worth experimenting with.
