13/03/2024Meta Considers New Elements for Its Verified Subscription Bundle
16/03/2024YouTube has introduced a new feature that displays all clips created by viewers from your uploaded videos, alongside rolling out new alerts to assist brands in ensuring accurate product listing displays within the app.
Starting with clips, creators can now navigate to the “Clips Library” within YouTube Studio to access a comprehensive listing of all clips generated from their videos.
This feature enables creators to view clips generated by themselves or the viewers and manage them efficiently within the display. This enhancement facilitates gaining insights into content resonance and managing various clips effectively. Notably, YouTube had previously introduced a similar Clips analytics overview in September.
The Clips Library is initially being launched on the desktop version of YouTube Studio, with mobile access set to follow soon.
In addition, YouTube has incorporated new alerts to notify channel managers when products are not being displayed correctly in their uploads due to various issues.
According to YouTube:
“Creators will see a banner in the video details if there are products that are tagged but can’t be served because of tag quality issues, products under review, products that have not been approved, or products that have been deleted.”
This feature aims to streamline identification and resolution of potential issues with product tags, thereby maximizing monetization and revenue opportunities within the app.
While these updates may seem minor within the broader YouTube ecosystem, each offers value in optimizing upload performance and leveraging additional opportunities.
Both features are currently being rolled out in YouTube Studio.
