“Social Media Marketing Strategies Course” takes participants/industry professionals  into truly understanding the 21st century phenomenon of social media. Social media has changed the way people live, communicate, get information, shop, and do business forever.

Companies large and small know how important it is for them to be a part of this online network, and as such, need people who know how to use social media channels to their best advantage from all 3 perspectives (personal, business communication, and business advertising), which are often overlooked in other textbooks.

After completing this textbook, students will be well-versed in how to use the right social media platform(s) and how to best utilize the features and advertising offered by each one. This knowledge will enable students to gain job-ready skills to reach their target audience and achieve their social media content and advertising goals for the company that hires them.

MARCOS KOMODROMOS

Dr. Marcos Komodromos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communications at the University of Nicosia. He is a Chartered PR practitioner (Ch. PR) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in Great Britain. Dr. Komodromos holds dual Master’s degrees in Communication and Management, and he earned his PhD in Business Administration, focusing on organizational justice, trust, and organizational change management. Currently, Dr. Komodromos consults on strategic corporate communication, digital media and social media strategy, and marketing communication for organizations in Cyprus and internationally. He is also a certified trainer and coach, specializing in marketing communications, digital marketing and social media, leadership, media training, and management. Dr. Komodromos has an extensive publication record covering digital media and communication, public relations, organizational justice, organizational trust, marketing communications, change management, internal communication, and corporate social responsibility. He currently has over 30,000 hours of training experience.

Experienced Digital Communications Manager and Associate Lecturer with a Master of Arts in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the University of Nicosia, achieving a 3.8 GPA and recognition as a Dissertation of the Year candidate.
Since 2016, he has led numerous digital strategies at 360 Chartered PR Consultants, focusing on enhancing brand visibility and engagement through innovative social media campaigns for Cypriot and International clients. In parallel, he is a lecturer at UCLan Cyprus and SocialSpace Academy, designing and delivering courses in communications, marketing, and digital media. His scholarly work includes a publication on digital technology in marketing, emphasising my commitment to applying academic insights to practical marketing strategies. He currently has over 3,000 hours of training experience.
